Jax Competitive Individual Development Training

Looking for personal development in soccer over the summer? Hoping to get more out of soccer training both on and off the field? How about expanding your training this summer?

This is a unique opportunity for significant player development.

Program Mission

Our program mission is to provide a quality-training in a positive learning environment. Designed to enhance individual player development for boys, our program will run for approximately 8 weeks. A typical training week includes 3 2-hr training sessions on the field and 3 1-hr strength training sessions in the weight room each week. Our program is specifically designed for players who strive to play soccer at a higher level.  Players will be required to work hard each session in order to achieve significant performance gains.

Note: Players are encouraged to participate in all sessions; however, it is understandable if players need to skip a session or several for a family vacation. It is recommended to NOT miss any of the strength and conditioning sessions.

Strength Training:

The strength portion of the training is an essential pillar of success for soccer players and this program, enhancing every aspect of player performance on the field. Building muscular strength improves force production, sprint speed, jump height, and overall explosiveness, allowing players to react quicker, dominate aerial duels and helping them to win 1v1’s. It also boosts endurance by making every movement more efficient, helping athletes maintain peak performance deep into the final minutes of a match. Beyond the obvious performance benefits, strength training also fortifies joints and ligaments, significantly reducing the risk of common injuries like ACL tears and muscle strains. Perhaps most importantly, it instills a mental edge—fostering confidence, resilience, and the grit needed to excel under pressure. For soccer players striving to elevate their game, strength training is not just a good idea—it’s a necessity. For this reason, the strength portion of this program is NOT optional. It is required for personal development in this program.
